Meet Our Family

At Sea Shell’s Seafood, we believe that good food tells a story—and ours is one rooted in family, faith, and flavor. Our journey began not just with a love for cooking, but with a deep desire to create something meaningful for our community.

This passion for Southern seafood and hospitality runs in the family. In fact, our story traces back to 1996, when our cousin, Marcus Hancock, first opened the doors of the original Sea Shell’s Seafood in Warner Robins, Georgia. With bold flavors, a warm smile, and an unmatched work ethic, Marcus laid the foundation for what would become a cherished family tradition.

Inspired by that same spirit, the Moffett family brought Sea Shell’s to Douglas, GA—a place we call home. Our location is family owned and operated by Dewayne (Dad), Kawana (Mom), Yasmine (Daughter), and ZaeZae (Son). Together, we work hand in hand every day to carry forward a legacy of great food and genuine hospitality. Every recipe on our menu is crafted with care, every dish served with pride, and every customer welcomed like family.

Here at Sea Shell’s, we don’t just serve seafood—we serve memories. From our crispy fried shrimp and buttery crab legs to our signature sauces and soulful sides, everything we prepare is made with love and the belief that a good meal can make you feel right at home.
